Christmas Week includes traditional Slovak (24th) and English (25th) Christmas dinners
Christmas Week from 19 DEC - 737€ per person for 14 people. We can accommodate up to 19 people. The more people the lower the per person cost!
We also provide airport transfers. Ski passes and any lessons will be added to packages based on number of people and 2022 season prices.

Christmas in Slovakia is celebrated on 24 DEC with a traditional evening meal of Cabbage Soup, Fish and Potato Salad and plenty fo home made cookies and gingerbread!
On 25 DEC, we spend the morning skiing before returning to the chalet for some Christmas Drinks followed by a traditional Christmas dinner of roast pork, turkey roll, leg ham and roasted potatoes and vegetables and of course gravy.

Jasna Adventures, the ski chalet company based in Jasna, Slovakia, is seeking a Guest Operations Manager to lead operations for The Dragon’s Lair Ski chalet starting this winter season - and continuing full-time upon a successful season.
This is a senior full-time role and oversee all guests services, front and back office, for our chalet and travel business.
You will work closely with and under the supervision of the chalet owner.
Our guests services are end to end - from airport pickup to airport drop off and everything in between – and we also accommodate guests in our partner accommodation. The vast majority of our winter guests are from the UK and Ireland, and our winter season runs from December through to April. Summer season is predominantly regional/local tourism and runs June to September.
Key Duties
Managing day to day operations of the chalet and travel company, ensuring guests services are delivered as per booking confirmations, and front and back office administration is completed.
- Advanced planning of all guests services based on booking confirmations
- Manage and oversee delivery of all guests services by the team including:
- Engage with guests and ensure their needs are being met
- Ensure cleaniness and hygiene standards are being upheld by the team
- Engage with suppliers and manage chalet stocks, laundry, etc.
- Work hands on, including cover for staff days off, busy days, etc
- Manage the front and back office including business admin tasks (eg accounts payable, invoicing)
- Regular reporting to business owners
To apply you must have:
- Previous ski chalet, hotel or hospitality management/operations experience
- Oral and written English language at a working level (Minimum CEFR – B1)
- A positive and friendly customer service orientated attitude
- Demonstrated reliability and trustworthiness
Ideally you will have:
- Oral and written English language at a professional working level (CEFR - B2 or higher)
- Permission to work in Slovakia (the EU)
- Slovak language skills

Key Dates
This is a full time role starting from mid-November 2022. Upon a successful winter season there will the option to take the role permanent.
Typical working days:
· Peak season (Dec-Apr, Jul - Aug) – 6 day week
· Shoulder season (May - Jun, Sept) – Weekends only
· Off-season (Oct - Nov) – back office duties, annual leave
Junior Chef
We’re looking for a Junior Chef for winter season to work with our Head Chef in our kitchen and bar.
This role would suit some that has started or recently completed kitchen training and is eager to gain some real world experience whist having spending their mornings on the snow, then we should chat.
Main responsibilities
- Following directions from the Head Chef on daily meal and menu preparations for chalet guests and bar customers
- Preparing and cooking in the bar kitchen, under supervision of the Head Chef
- Kitchen set up and shut down, cleaning and maintaining professional standards
- Working front of house, taking orders, serving drinks and meals
- Maintaining hygiene (HACCP) and cleanliness standards
Standard working hours
- Start mid-December 2021 until mid-April (end date to be mutually agreed)
- Bar shifts – 14.00 until 22h00 (Bar opens from 15h00)
- 1 rostered day off per week
- Any time you’re not required to work you are welcome go skiing

As a chalet couple you will work together to ensure our chalet guests get the full experience of their chalet holiday through th winter season.
Key Duties
Chalet Host
- Serve breakfast, apres drinks/snacks and dinners, following direction from the head chef.
- Engage with guests and ensure their needs are being met whilst in the chalet
- Ensure the chalet is kept clean and tidy and that health and hygiene standards are met throughout the season. Assist with changeover days.
- As required - Ski hosting with guests
- As required - work in the bar, especially when chalet guests are in the bar
Driver
- Drive guests in the chalet shuttle bus (morning afternoon, evening)
- Drive airport transfers
- Looking after the chalet firewood, shovelling snow, cleaning vehicles
- Assist with ski hire and ski tech
- As required - Ski hosting with guests
- As required - Assist with dinner serving or helping in the bar
Personal attributes
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to use self-initiative and judgement
- Friendly and positive with an outgoing, but not overbearing, attitude.
- Able to related to people from different backgrounds
- Self - organized with good time management, and able maintain a schedule

- Drivers' licence with good driving experience and clean record.
Ideally you will have:
- Previous ski chalet, hotel or hospitality/customer service experience
- Skiing ability from intermediate level.
- Permission to work in Slovakia/EU

Dates

This season will see the FIS Women's World Cup Slalom events return to Jasna on the weekend of 20-21 January 2024.
Last season's new lift made a huge difference to skiing in to and getting out of Beila Put, plus gave the beginners on the nursery slope plenty more runs with a much reduce lift queues.
This season will be night skiing, fresh tracks mornings, and the usual on snow DJ and party events.
